Erin Barr Design is a London and Sydney based firm founded by Interior Designer Erin Barr.
Erin studied fine arts and followed with a degree in Interior Architecture graduating with honours at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She worked with KTA and Brooke Aitken Design on various commercial and retail projects in Australia before joining Chapman Taylor Architects in London in 2006 –working on a number of airport design projects in the UK and Europe. In 2009 Erin joined world renowned Anouska Hempel, where she worked as a design associate leading a talented team on high end residential and hotel projects throughout the world.
Working both in an architectural and interior design capacity, Erin’s strong design aesthetic and desire to create stylish, innovative, yet functional designs, is evident in her work. Having lived and worked in London for the most part of her career, Erin’s passion is working with historical buildings and the modern design interpretations that can be made within them.
Erin Barr Design was established in 2013 and is developing an interesting portfolio of works in residential and hospitality design. Dedication to the art and craft of architecture / interiors, innovative designing, and a sensitive and practical approach, defines their reputation. The firm offers complete design services including planning, design, documentation, tender and construction administration right through to bespoke furniture design, selection and finishing.
